A Good Day

Took a Mental Health day off of work to prevent me from quitting my job and went to Glen Ivy with Steph. It was amazing. I am so relaxed but couldn't stop thinking about work and all the crap that was piling on top of the crap that was already there. I just checked my email and had 30 something messages from 1 day. Yikes. I wish I had never checked it... Kinda ruined my good day to read all the pissed off people that I would actually take a day to myself and I might need another Mental Health day before I do something I will regret. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WORKKKKKKKKKKK SUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSS.

My Laundry Blues

In my new place there is not a washer and dryer. I have to take a short walk to the laundry room to do a load of wash. Because of this I haven't done laundry since I moved into this place (2 weeks now). On Thursday I decided I should maybe clean my stuff. 4 Loads of laundry = $8 later.

I don't know how you Moms of 1 or more kids do it. I hate doing laundry.

I heart Cupcakes

If you know me or read about my diet last week you know that I love cupcakes. I saw these shoes at Nordstrom Rack. Not sure I love them enough to wear them on my shoes. Maybe if I was 5.

My Neighbor... The Stalker

In my complex we have lots of trees, streams, ponds and ducks who occupy them. The other day I was walking home from my car and the duck seemed to know exactly where I was going and led me home. Guess someone has been paying attention to me. I just need to figure out his name.

Watching my Weight...

So 3 weeks ago yesterday I joined Weight Watchers Online. I was really excited about the progress I was making toward my 15 lb loss goal. In the first few weeks of doing the program I was happy to have lost 2.5 lbs per week. Mondays are my weigh in day so today I did the drill thinking I didn't loose anything because of how indulgent I have been over the past few days and all the spring cupcakes I've had this past week. Well I step on the scale and poof I lost 4.5 pounds last week bringing my loss to 9.5 lbs in 3 weeks!!! I cannot believe how easy this "diet" is. I think I am going to re-examine my goal. It just seems to good to be true but the scale does not lie.

Cutest Kitty Award...

I know everyone thinks that their pet is cuter than other people's pets... Well this is my kitty Phoebe, she really is the cutest kitty ever. My dad found her under the hood of his car after driving down our street and hearing an awful noise coming from the front of his car. She was just a few weeks old and we took her in. I love her to death. Her most unique feature is that she drools when you pet her. It just drops one drop at a time out of the side of her mouth.

Hi Everyone!

I am back and actually in a new home. I have just moved out with living with a room mate to living all by myself!! Even though its only been just a few days, I love being on my own. Not that my past situation was bad at all, its just different to walk into your place and everything in it belongs to YOU!!

I'm Officially....

A Work-A-Holic. Its Friday night, I am single and I am on my computer and checked my email to find that one of my customers needed to place an order for 2 HP printers (meanwhile this is the last week of a promotion we are having with HP), So I had to place the order. I am just so glad I had nothing else to do tonight... well maybe.

Not a Tom Brady Fan, but...

Take a look at the new face of Stenson. I normally don't really find him attactive, but these pictures leave me feeling that maybe he isn't so overrated afterall. Even though he is the Quarterback for the perfect season team and the boyfriend of one of the hottest Victoria's Secret models, my heart still belongs to my Matt Leinart.

January has been a tough month. I am sure you may have figured that out from my lack of blogs. I promise February will be different. As you can see by the picture evidence, I have been trying to cope through this month by filling my free time with the following activities. Wine, Sleep, Magazines and Chocolate.

This feels like deja vous writing about this but its not. Today my good friend, Michelle went to LAX to pick up her boyfriend (John, Toe Jam's (aka BFF Stephanie's) Brother) from a 3 week long trip to India and what does he do? PROPOSE to her!! Yay!! Congrats to Michelle and John. The only picture I have is of her ring. That's all you women seem to care about seeing anyways. So who's next you ask? Well that leaves me. I am now officially the last of my friends to be single and unattached... As "they" say - Save the Best for Last. So can't wait to report the next engagement out of my group of friends... will be ME!!! Today is a good news day. One last question, when are all these married folks of mine going to start procreating?
